Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide from African Clay Safaris and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, relax and settle into your accommodation while preparing for the safari ahead. Arusha is the gateway to Tanzania’s Northern Safari Circuit and the perfect place to begin your adventure. Dinner and overnight in Arusha.

Day 2 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for your first game drive. Tarangire is famous for giant baobab trees, large elephant herds, and beautiful open landscapes. The Tarangire River attracts a huge variety of wildlife, especially during the dry season. Look out for elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, buffalo, and many bird species while enjoying a full day game drive. Dinner and overnight near Tarangire.

Day 3 – Tarangire to Lake Eyasi

After breakfast, depart Tarangire and continue toward the peaceful shores of Lake Eyasi. Lake Eyasi offers a completely different experience from the national parks. Surrounded by escarpments and open bushland, this seasonal soda lake is home to unique cultural communities and beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival, enjoy the scenery and relax at your lodge while taking in the peaceful atmosphere of the lake. Dinner and overnight at Lake Eyasi.

Day 4 – Lake Eyasi Cultural Experience & Transfer to Ngorongoro

Begin the morning with a cultural experience around Lake Eyasi, where you may visit the Hadzabe hunter-gatherer community and learn about one of Tanzania’s oldest traditional ways of life. You may also visit local communities near the lake and experience authentic cultural traditions, daily activities, and the surrounding natural environment. Later, continue toward the Ngorongoro Highlands where cooler air and sweeping views welcome you. Dinner and overnight near Ngorongoro.

Day 5 – Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, journey through the Ngorongoro highlands toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. The drive offers breathtaking views across crater landscapes, Maasai lands, and open plains before arriving in the Serengeti. Enjoy an afternoon game drive as you enter one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations, home to lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, and massive herds of grazing animals. Day 6 – Full-Day Safari in Serengeti National Park

Spend the full day exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti. Morning and afternoon game drives offer excellent opportunities to search for predators, large herds, and the incredible wildlife that makes this park world-famous. Depending on the season, you may also witness part of the Great Migration. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush surrounded by spectacular scenery. Dinner and overnight in Serengeti.

Day 7 – Full-Day Safari in Serengeti National Park

Another full day in Serengeti allows more time to discover different areas of the park and follow wildlife movement with your guide. Early mornings and late afternoons are ideal for predator sightings, while the open plains offer endless opportunities for photography and unforgettable safari moments. Day 8 – Serengeti to Lake Natron

After breakfast, depart Serengeti and travel toward the remote and dramatic landscapes of Lake Natron. This journey takes you through wild and lesser-visited parts of northern Tanzania with stunning Rift Valley scenery. Lake Natron is one of Tanzania’s most unique natural wonders, known for its red mineral-rich waters, dramatic volcanic surroundings, flamingo breeding grounds, and views of Ol Doinyo Lengai. Day 9 – Explore Lake Natron
